Shoaib Akhtar expressed his thoughts about second marriage

Former Pakistan cricket team player and fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar spoke openly about his wife, children and second marriage while mentioning his private life for the first time in a recent interview.

Recently, Shoaib Akhtar appeared as a guest on a podcast, where he talked about his marriage apart from his career, explaining why he has not spoken about his marriage to the media before.

When asked about the host’s marriage and children, he said that his marriage had taken place against the will of his parents and suddenly.

He replied in detail that he was a very dutiful son of his mother and never refused her anything, due to which he got a lot of ease in every matter of life and all his wishes were fulfilled.

He said that when his mother went on Hajj, his mother-in-law was also with her and she treated my mother as her elder.

According to Shoaib Akhtar, his mother told his mother-in-law that she is Shoaib Akhtar’s mother, not Pirni, due to which people come to meet her and respect her. Later, on my return from Hajj, my mother invited these people on the invitation of Hajj and introduced me for the first time to my future wife, who is much younger than me.

He said that after the above meeting, their marriage was arranged in a very simple manner, in which a few members of both the families attended and they married the bride and brought her home.

He said that he has 2 sons Mikael and Mujadadi.

Shoaib Akhtar claimed that there is no restriction on his wife but he is in favor of the veil, but his wife herself does not want to appear on the media.

Shoaib Akhtar smilingly said on the question about second marriage that four marriages are allowed in Islam but a man should have only one marriage because the girl leaves her home and therefore the role of the man should be such that he protects her. So that he becomes an ideal and inspirational figure for his wife.

He further said that Allah has given him a chaste, beautiful and good wife, so he will not marry again.

It should be noted that Shoaib Akhtar married Rabab Khan, 18 years younger than himself, in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in June 2014. Their first son was born in 2016 and the second in 2019.
