The storm in the south-east of the Arabian Sea intensified.
According to the Meteorological Department, ‘Bye Parjoy’ intensified further and turned into a very severe cyclone.
The cyclone is 1260 km south of Karachi, the wind speed around the center of the cyclone is 110 to 120 km.
The Meteorological Department says that the wind gusts in the center of the storm are sometimes touching 140 km per hour.
This system may intensify due to favorable weather conditions.
The Meteorological Department said that the cyclone will continue to move towards northwest.
So far there is no threat to any coastal area of Pakistan from the cyclone.
The Meteorological Department’s Cyclone Warning Center is monitoring the system.
