Lahore: Jahangir Tareen has announced the formation of a new political party called Satwat Pakistan, in which more than 100 former PTI members and leaders have joined.
At a dinner given to members at Aleem Khan’s residence, Jahangir Tareen announced the name of the new party, Aleem Khan also played an important role in the formation of the party.
Around 100 former members of PTI National and Provincial Assembly joined the new party expressing confidence in Jahangir Tareen’s leadership.
Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, former Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, former Federal Minister Aamir Kayani, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Mahmood Maulvi, Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan, Murad Ras and Jay Prakash announced their participation.

Apart from this, GG Jamal, Ajmal Wazir from FATA, Nauman Langriyal and Noreez Shakur from Punjab have also joined.
The dinner was attended by other leaders including Aoun Chaudhry who expressed confidence in the leadership of Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan.
Meanwhile, Jahangir Tareen is expected to hold an important press conference with former PTI members and leaders on Friday.
