Three batches of marketed neuroleptic tablet Phenobar 30 mg were declared fake.
The Drug Regulatory Authority has issued a rapid alert regarding Phenobar Tablet.
The Drip Alert stated that the three batches of Phenobar tablets QA 19, 25, 16 are counterfeit, the company disassociated from the three batches of Phenobar available in the market.
Counterfeit medicine may contain psychotropic, narcotic and toxic ingredients.
Drap says that chemists should check stock to prevent the sale of fake batches of Pheno Bar.
