Afghanistan’s star leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been ruled out of the one-off Test match against Bangladesh.
Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) says that Rashid Khan could not even play two ODI matches against Sri Lanka due to injury.
According to ACB, Rashid Khan’s fitness has been given top priority by the management and medical team. Decided to give Rashid Khan a precautionary rest for the Test match against Bangladesh.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board says that the decision to rest Rashid Khan was made for his fitness ahead of the Asia Cup and the World Cup.
It should be noted that the only Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be played in Dhaka from June 14 to 18.
