Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Sports Adviser Wahab Riaz has said that Pakistan will get new women players in the future from Pink Games.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Pink Games, Wahab Riaz said that women athletes should be given a chance so that they can express their talents.
He said that DC Lahore Rafia Haider has been appointed as the ambassador of Pink Games.
He said that organizing the games for women was challenging, the entire team worked hard to organize the games.
Mushir Khel said that the aim of the Pink Games is to give women players an opportunity.
Wahab Riaz said that the players will be selected for the national teams based on their best performance.
It should be noted that the first Pink Games was inaugurated at the Punjab Stadium.
Women athletes from various universities are participating in the Games, who marched past during the opening ceremony.
The Pink Games will continue till June 10 at the Nishtar Sports Complex in which women will compete in seven sports including cricket, hockey and badminton.
