In the Peshawar High Court, the petitions against the trial of the cases of the suspects arrested in the May 9 incidents in the military court were set for hearing.
A 2-member bench consisting of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah will hold the hearing tomorrow.
It was argued in the petition that the cases of civilians cannot be tried in military courts.
The petition further said that the act would have to be amended to allow civilian cases to be tried in military courts.
