Lahore: The High Court has called for the details of the cases registered against Shah Mehmood Qureshi till tomorrow.
A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on the request of the PTI leader to provide details of the cases, in which Justice Ali Baqir Najafi sought the details of the cases registered against Shah Mahmood Qureshi and ordered that the number of cases filed against Shah Mahmood Qureshi should be reported by tomorrow. Cases are filed.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s daughter Gohar Banu’s lawyer gave arguments during the hearing. In the petition filed to obtain the details of the cases, it has been stated that thousands of Tehreek-e-Insaf workers were arrested in recent incidents, hundreds of officials and workers including Shah Mahmood Qureshi were detained under 3MPO. The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
It was further said in the application that despite the interim bail, he was detained under three MPOs for the second time. Shah Mehmood Qureshi is feared to be arrested in an unknown case. The court should order the provision of details of all the cases against Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The court harassed Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Also issue orders to stop doing it.
