After 14 years in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Apex Committee was terminated, and the Provincial Task Force was established

Peshawar: After 14 years in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Apex Committee was abolished and a Provincial Task Force was established.

According to Express News, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government abolished the apex committee which was formed in the year 2008, now a provincial task force has been established in its place, which will be headed by the chief minister.

The meeting of the Provincial Task Force will be held at the Chief Minister’s House instead of the Governor’s House in which Corps Commander Peshawar, Chief Minister, IG Police, Commandant FC will participate.

The Provincial Task Force will look into the security situation, development projects, important issues. The Provincial Task Force will be able to summon government officials including the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary.
