Dubai, the richest state in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has seen an extraordinary improvement in the tourism sector, which has led to a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists.
Local media quoted the Department of Tourism as saying that more than 6 million foreign tourists visited Dubai during the first four months of this year. This number is 18 percent higher than the first four months of last year.
According to the Department of Tourism, the largest number of tourists came from India during this period, whose number was recorded at more than 86,000.
