Pakistan Junior Team participating in Junior Asia Cup Hockey is forced to play without daily allowance.
According to the sources, no daily allowance has been given to any player on the tour so far, 100 USD per day is given to each player on the foreign tour.
Neither the management nor any player has been given the daily allowance till now, before the team’s departure, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) requested funds from the Pakistan Sports Board several times.
Sources say that the PHF itself arranged the tickets and the accommodation of the players, while the PSB was asked to give only the daily allowance at the time of the team’s departure, which was also refused.
It should be noted that the Pakistan junior team has qualified for the finals by showing excellent performance in Junior Asia Cup Hockey.
