ICC Chairman Greg Barclay visited Lahore to review the security arrangements for the proposed Asia Cup in Pakistan.
Chairman ICC went to Safe Cities Authority along with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials. Greg Barclay and chief executive Jeff Allardyce reviewed surveillance from the cameras.
Managing Director Muhammad Kamran Khan gave a briefing regarding the security arrangements for the Asia Cup.
The ICC chairman monitored the routes with cameras installed across the city and expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements.
The ICC delegation was shown videos of security provided to teams visiting Pakistan.
The delegation was briefed on airport, stadium routes, hotels, parking and police force arrangements.
The delegation was briefed on the use of modern technology and cooperation between law enforcement agencies.
MD Muhammad Kamran Khan said that the security arrangements for cricket in Lahore are as per international standards.
Chairman ICC said that the infrastructure of Safe City Lahore is one of the best systems in the world.
He further said that I feel good coming to Pakistan, the passion of Pakistanis for cricket is to be seen.
