Karachi: In Mominabad Orangi Town, the husband killed his wife by hitting her with a stone, while the police arrested the accused husband with the help of the family.

According to the details, the police arrived at the spot on the report of the presence of a dead body of a woman in a house near Malik Chowk, Halima Masjid, Orangi Town, Mominabad, and took the body into custody and took the body to Edhi Ambulance, first to Mominabad Police Station and then to Abbasi Shaheed for legal action. Transferred to the hospital, the victim was identified as 35-year-old Zeba Bibi.

The deceased’s brother-in-law Muhammad Deen and relative Ghulam Rasool while talking to Express said that Zeba Bibi was a mother of 6 children and was from Lora Lai area of ​​Balochistan. The deceased’s husband Khalil Ahmed was suffering from mental illness for the last 7 years. For some time, Khalil Ahmed was being treated at the Tafsiya Hospital in Balochistan and now in Karachi, while he was also undergoing spiritual treatment.

He said that between Monday and Tuesday night, the accused Khalil Ahmed suddenly got into a rage and he first subjected his wife Zeba Bibi to severe torture and then hit her with a big stone (brick) on her head and seriously injured her.

Ghulam Rasool said that when those people reached the room after hearing the noise, Ziba was lying in a pool of blood. They took him to the clinic where the doctor said that the woman had died. When the police reached the spot, they handed over the accused Khalil Ahmed to them.

He said that the accused loved his wife and children very much, but he did not know that he had killed his own wife. According to him, some elders said that jinn visit Khalil, due to which his physical condition deteriorates and he becomes obsessed.

The heirs said that even if the accused is their brother, they will definitely take legal action against him.
