Islamabad: Federal Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel has said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to increase cooperation in the health sector.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Health, he expressed these views while talking to the Saudi Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajil, who met him in Geneva.
This was the second meeting of Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel with the Saudi counterpart in the last eight months. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to increase cooperation in the health sector.
The Federal Minister said that the Saudi Health Minister has agreed to work together with Pakistan regarding epidemics and health security.
According to the statistics released by NIH on Thursday, 2 thousand 909 tests of corona virus were conducted across the country during the last 24 hours, out of which 7 people tested positive, thus the rate of positive cases was 0.45 percent and during this time there were no cases of corona virus. The patient did not die, but the condition of 6 patients is critical.
