Geneva: The World Health Organization has announced an extraordinary network to monitor, develop treatments and warn against emerging diseases around the world.
Named ‘International Pathogen Surveillance Network’ (IPSN) under WHO. Under this, different countries will be connected to jointly accelerate the process of disease samples, research and treatment. It should be noted that this platform has been created under the global covid epidemic.
The main purpose of the platform is to prevent infections or communicable diseases that continue to spread rapidly. The network will pave the way for identification, information and treatment of infectious diseases. Then at the research level, each new germ and virus will be researched and genetically investigated to consider lethality and spread.
The head of the World Health Organization, Adhanom Ghebreyesus, called it a purposeful step and called it a health protection. He said that after Kovid, the world has stood up a bit stronger to fight diseases.
In this network, medical experts, genetic scientists, teachers of government, institutions and universities will be able to communicate better with each other.
