The Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) has issued a notification regarding the increase in the prices of medicines.
According to the Drape notification, a 14% increase in the prices of life-saving medicines and 20% increase in the prices of all other medicines has been allowed.
The increase in the prices of medicines was approved by the Economic Advisory Committee of the Federal Cabinet.
Drape’s policy board will re-evaluate the pricing after 3 months, the drug prices may also be reduced if the dollar depreciates.
