DIY 2-Minute Scrub for Glowing, Clear Skin

Dry skin is a common problem in summers, but this problem can be solved in less than two minutes with this DIY scrub that is very easy to make and very useful to use.

Achieving glowing skin doesn’t always require expensive skin care products, just a few readily available ingredients found in the kitchen can create scrubs that will exfoliate your skin in less than two minutes. Brightens, refreshes and rejuvenates.

Following are useful scrubs that can be made in minutes that you will become a fan of.

Sugar and coconut oil

Grind one cup of sugar into a fine powder and now add one spoon of coconut oil and lemon juice to it and mix well.

Apply this mixture on your face, hands and massage well for three to four minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.

This process will clean the stubborn dirt from your face and hands, after massaging the face, wash with cold water and pat dry.

Yogurt and coffee scrub

Mix three teaspoons of freshly ground coffee with half a cup of yogurt, if you have dry skin, blend the yogurt with whole milk and leave it for five minutes, when the mixture thickens. Add a teaspoon of honey and mix well.

Apply this mixture on the face and rub in upward circular motion for about 8 to 10 minutes then wash off with cold water Use this scrub twice a week for best results.

Coconut and almond scrub

This face scrub cleanses the skin and also helps in reducing melanin.

Mix together two cups of white clay, one cup of ground oatmeal, four tablespoons of ground almonds and two tablespoons of finely ground rose petals.

Add enough coconut milk to make a smooth paste.

Use it as a gentle face scrub for soft and supple skin.

Lemon honey and sugar scrub

A natural exfoliant that removes dead skin cells, lemon can help remove blackheads, acne and sun-induced pigmentation.

On the other hand, honey acts as a natural antioxidant and helps to moisturize and heal inflamed skin.

Mix a cup of sugar, half a cup of olive oil and a tablespoon of honey, add the juice of a large lemon, leave it on your face for a while, scrub for a few minutes before washing it off with cold water. Do not leave the scrub on for too long as it can cause dull skin.
