Pakistan Cricket Board has given green signal for Test series with India at neutral venue.
Najam Sethi, chairman of the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board, while giving an interview to foreign media, said that they are ready to play a Test series with India in Australia.
Najam Sethi said that Pakistan India Test series can be played in Australia, England and South Africa and the first option for this will be England and the second option will be Australia.
“If we can have a house full in Australia, well, that will be great, Dubai will be cheaper for us for the Test series with India,” he said.
Najam Sethi said that we have also kept Australia on the radar as a neutral venue, we have given hybrid model to India for Asia Cup, ICC has to come forward to save the World Cup and Champions Trophy.
He said that ICC should talk with India, International Cricket Council should tell India to go and play in Pakistan, otherwise adopt hybrid model.
It should be noted that the idea of a Test series between Pakistan and India was in the news last year as well and due to political tension between the two countries, the bilateral series is not taking place.
The last bilateral series between Pakistan and India was played in 2013
The last Test match between the two teams was played in December 2007.
