Cyclone Moka has caused a power crisis in Bangladesh due to disruption of gas supply.
The shutdown of both floating LNG terminals in Bangladesh affected power supply.
According to Bangladesh’s grid operator, power supply on Monday was 17 percent short of demand and 14 percent short on Sunday. The worst shortage was seen after midnight.
According to officials, one terminal started functioning last night while the other terminal will start functioning in the next few days.
