Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehryar Afridi was arrested from Islamabad.
According to the police, Shehryar Afridi has been arrested from Sector F8 under the threat of peace.
On the other hand, the second police raid on Lal Haveli to arrest Sheikh Rashid and his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafiq in Rawalpindi also went in vain.
The police have not made any arrests so far.
Earlier, the police also arrested PTI leader Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan from Murree Road Liaquat Bagh.
A case was registered against Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan in Sadiqabad police station on May 9, accusing him of arson and inciting workers.
