In the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the hearing of the Election Commission’s review appeal on the order to hold the general elections in Punjab on May 14 was adjourned till Tuesday next week.
A 3-member special bench chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial conducted the hearing, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar were part of this bench.
The court issued notices to the parties including political parties, advocate generals of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
