Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid fell ill due to not taking medicine during detention and was taken to the hospital due to breathing problems and was arrested by the police.
According to the information and footage received by Express News, Dr. Yasmin Rashid has been taken to the hospital in a white vehicle. After his release from jail, he was taken to the hospital due to unwellness.
Family and PTI sources said that Dr. Yasmin Rashid was shifted to Services Hospital Lahore due to breathing problem.
After her release from jail, she reached the Services Hospital and was arrested by the police. According to the police officials, Dr. Yasmin Rashid was wanted in three cases in Lahore. Cases have been registered against him in Sarwar Road, Gulberg and Shadman police stations under other serious provisions including terrorism.
Earlier, an order was issued by the Lahore High Court to suspend the detention orders, after which Yasmin Rashid was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail and then the Police of Model Town Division reached the Services Hospital to arrest Dr. Yasmin Rashid. .
According to the doctors, Yasmin Rashid will be kept in the hospital due to her physical condition, she is admitted to the private room where urology professor Muhammad Anwar and other doctors have checked her up. The doctor said that the PTI leader will be kept in the hospital at night due to unwellness.
The doctor conducted the rest of the tests including ECG of Yasmeen Rashid, the report of which is awaited, while during the examination, her blood pressure was high. Samples will also be taken for Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s blood test.
According to the sources, Dr. Yasmin Rashid is also suffering from blood pressure, due to not taking medicines during detention, her condition worsened and breathing became difficult. The PTI leader is currently being given oxygen.
