Lahore: CTD arrested four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in view of terrorism concerns.
According to CTD spokesman, the operation was conducted in Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala. The terrorists belong to the outlawed Daesh and TTP, from whom explosive materials and materials for making suicide vests were recovered.
The terrorists were identified as Salman, Sher Zaman, Malik Israr and Sher Khan. Cases have been registered against the terrorists and the investigation is ongoing.
During 248 combing operations this week, 51 suspects were arrested while more than 11 thousand people were questioned.
Spokesperson says that CTD is committed to rooting out the scourge of terrorism, following the goal of safe Punjab.
