Lahore High Court withdrew the order not to arrest Usman Buzdar

Lahore: The High Court has withdrawn the single bench order not to arrest former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

The court issued a written order on the petition regarding not providing details of Usman Buzdar’s cases, according to which the Lahore High Court withdrew the single bench order not to arrest him.

A 5-member larger bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi issued a written order, stating that the single bench raised some questions but the chief justice did not refer to these questions while sending the final larger bench. Similar questions were raised in other applications of the same nature. The parties have also submitted a written response in this regard.

The court adjourned further hearing of the case till May 26.
