Lahore: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached the Corps Commander House Lahore, where he met the military leadership and expressed solidarity.

According to the sources, after the visit to Jinnah House, the Prime Minister reached the Services Hospital where he visited other injured officials including DIG Operations Ali Nasir who were injured during the arson and riots in the past few days. Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi was also with him on this occasion.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister while appreciating the high morale of the injured officers and youths said that they have set a high example of duty by showing patience and tolerance. The Prime Minister said that indiscriminate action is being taken against the elements who are arson, encirclement and pelting stones on the police force.

Later, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, an important meeting regarding law and order was held at the head office of Punjab Safe Cities Authority, in which caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, federal and provincial secretaries, chief secretary, inspector general of police and other senior officials participated. .

In the meeting, the law and order situation was reviewed while the Prime Minister was briefed on the arrangements made to protect the lives and property of the people and the ongoing measures against the miscreants.
