The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) started efforts to organize matches for the national men’s football team in the window of international friendlies in March this year.
According to sources, the federation is trying to arrange international friendly matches for the national football team during the window of March 20 to 28 this year.
In this regard, the Pakistan Football Federation has contacted Thailand, Maldives and Bhutan, while recently PFF chief Haroon Malik also discussed these issues on the sidelines of the AFC meeting in Bahrain.
Sources say that Pakistan’s opponent in March’s FIFA friendly window will be decided in the next few days.
The national men’s team will also participate in the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Championship this year, while the national women’s team will participate in the Olympic qualifiers in April.
