The schedule of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has been released. The event will start from October 5 while the final will be played on November 19.
According to Indian media, 48 matches will be played between 10 teams in the World Cup. The opening match of the event will be played between defending champions England and New Zealand.
The biggest match of the mega event will be Pakistan India Takra on 15th October.
Indian media claims that Pakistan has expressed its willingness to participate in the World Cup, all the matches of Pakistan will be played in India.
The Indian media says that Pakistan has objection to the venues to participate in the World Cup because Pakistan’s position is that the Pakistan-India match should be held in some other stadium instead of Ahmedabad.
BCCI wanted to hold the match between Pakistan and India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, the Indian media says that the Pakistan-India match will be held in another stadium.
Pakistan’s matches will be played in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Pakistan have agreed to play at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad if they reach the final.
