Austria ordered 4 Russian diplomats to leave the country for violating international agreements.
Austria’s foreign ministry ordered the expulsion of Russian diplomats without giving details.
2 out of 4 diplomats have been declared persona non grata and instructed to leave the country by February 8.
Both of these diplomats work in the Russian Embassy in Vienna.
The other 2 diplomats are part of the Russian mission working at the UN office.
Austria’s foreign ministry said two diplomats working at the Russian embassy had behaved in violation of their diplomatic status, hence they are being declared ‘persona non grata’.
The statement said that two diplomats working in the Russian mission to the United Nations had violated the agreement between Austria and the United Nations.
