The arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been condemned by former cricketers of Pakistan.
Imran Khan’s arrest has been condemned by former fast bowler Wasim Akar, Waqar Younis and all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez.
Wasim Akram wrote in a statement released on the social networking site Twitter that you are alone but there are millions of people with you.
Waqar Younis also condemned the arrest of Imran Khan and wrote that the captain is with you.
Muhammad Hafeez has described the arrest of Imran Khan as a painful and condemnable act.
It should be noted that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who reached Islamabad High Court yesterday, was arrested by Rangers in NAB’s Al-Qadir Trust case.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan was taken into custody by the Rangers as soon as he started going to the relevant office of the High Court to get his biometrics done.
