8 teams have completed direct qualification for ICC Cricket World Cup.
The South African cricket team managed to qualify directly for the ICC Cricket World Cup, while the first ODI match between Ireland and Bangladesh could not be played in Chelmsford due to continuous rain.

The top 2 teams from the qualifiers will participate in the World Cup.
