Moscow: The head of Russia’s private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russian generals are trying to deceive Putin.
According to global media reports, this statement by Wagner’s chief came amid growing tensions between the military company and the Kremlin’s security establishment. Yevgeny also questioned Russia’s defense capability against Ukraine’s retaliation.
Prigozhin said the Russian state was “incapable of defending the country,” adding that Russian generals were trying to deceive Putin. Today in the war, one of the front units ran away after showing its belly to the enemy. Yogini demanded that it should be recognized as treason against the country.
Amid ongoing tensions with other military leaders in Moscow, including Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, Prigozhin also reminded officials of a pledge made if Wagner was on the battlefield. If weapons are not provided to the forces of the Army in time, they will be recalled from the battlefield. “It is getting very bad, if it continues like this, we will lose our ability to fight,” he said.
