Lahore: Farah Gogi’s legal team has sent a legal notice to the FIA and Interpol on the matter of FI’s request to Interpol to issue a red warrant against Farah Gogi.
FIA has sent a request to Interpol to issue a red warrant against the friend of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife, Farah Shahzadi alias Farah Gogi.
In the legal notice sent by Farah Gogi’s legal team, it has been stated that action is being taken against him (Farah Gogi) on political grounds and the case registered against him is outside the jurisdiction of FIA.
According to Azhar Siddique, the head of the legal team, correspondence for Farah Gogi’s red warrant is a violation of Article 3 of the Constitution, and the red warrant application was defamed by releasing it to the media.
Azhar Siddique further said that issuing such red warrant brings dishonor to the country, we have asked Interpol to take strict action if a letter is written for red warrant again.
