There is a fear of damaging the synthetic turf worth crores of rupees in National Hockey Stadium Lahore. Turf laying is slow. In Lahore, the turf has been blown around several times due to the wind, while the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) says that the turf is being laid as per the instructions of the experts.
The process of laying turf in the National Hockey Stadium Lahore is slow due to which the turf worth crores of rupees is feared to be damaged.
The turf laying work was inaugurated in mid-April by Sports Advisor Punjab Wahab Riaz. It’s been a while.
Sources say that there is a risk of damage to such turf, the installation of turf in the stadium has been estimated at around Rs 16 crore.
On the other hand, Sports Board Punjab says that the turf is being laid under the supervision of experts as per their instructions, the work will be completed in 10 to 12 days.
