Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi has said that it is unacceptable to call Saudi Arabia an enemy of Iran or Iran an enemy of Saudi Arabia.
While giving an interview to the Syrian News Agency, he said that even during the tension, Iran had avoided declaring Saudi Arabia as an enemy country.
The Iranian president said that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared only America and Israel as enemies.
He further said that the US and Israel conspired to scare and threaten the countries of the region by making Iran a phobia, and this conspiracy was exposed over time.
Ibrahim Raisi said that Iran and Saudi Arabia are two big countries, the restoration of relations will bring about major changes in the region.
To a question, he clarified that Iran stood with Syria in the past decades and will continue to stand in the future.
The Iranian President said that the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, has defiantly fought against the American alliance and Israel.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi added that the Americans have admitted to creating ISIS and other terrorist groups.
