Another record of Naseem Shah in ODI matches

Pakistan’s young fast bowler Naseem Shah is taking the record of most wickets with each passing ODI match, this time he also took the record of taking most wickets in the first 6 matches.

Naseem Shah took two wickets in the first match of the ODI series against New Zealand in Rawalpindi.

Naseem Shah took 20 wickets in 6 opening matches of his career, breaking the record held by New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry in the same match.

Matt Henry took 19 wickets in the first 6 matches, Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman took 18 wickets in the first 6 ODIs.

Imran Tahir, Ryan Harris, Zahoor Khan and Ibadat Hussain took 17 and 17 wickets respectively.

It should be noted that Naseem Shah holds the record of taking the most wickets in the first 4 and 5 matches as well.
