Sindh Health Minister Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho has said that no case of monkey pox has been reported in the province including Karachi.
Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho has said that there is no truth about the symptoms of monkeypox in a passenger at Karachi Airport, the airport administration has no authority to issue any information without verification.
He said that the health department is monitoring the situation by itself, isolation wards have been established in Jinnah Hospital and Chandka Medical Hospital.
According to the provincial health minister, a 20-bed isolation ward has been established in Karachi.
Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho also said to avoid providing unverified information about monkeypox.
