3 suspected monkeypox travelers coming to Karachi from abroad have come forward.
Director of the Border Health Services Department, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Shah, while talking to Geo News, said that the symptoms of monkeypox were found in the three passengers during the screening.
He said that further screening of the passengers is going on in the isolation centers, if confirmed, the passengers will be kept in the isolation center for one to two weeks.
Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Shah said that the screening process is going on at other airports of the country including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
He said that all the airports of the country are on high alert after the first case of monkeypox came to light.
