A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandyal will hear the case today regarding holding elections in the country and implementing the April 4 decision.
Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar are included in the bench. The three-member bench will hear the case at 11:30 a.m.
The bench ordered the government to submit a report on depositing funds of Rs.21 billion for the elections by April 27.
Yesterday, all the cases except bench number one were canceled due to the unwellness of the Chief Justice.
It should be noted that Sardar Kashif, a citizen, had filed an application regarding holding the general elections of national and provincial assemblies simultaneously across the country.
