Nepal Cricket Association has lifted the ban on cricketer Sandeep Lame Chane.
Sandeep Lame Chane was accused of raping an 18-year-old girl in August last year, and was suspended by the Nepal Cricket Association due to the rape case.
Member Brendra Bahadur Chand says that the decision to lift the suspension was taken in a meeting of the executive committee of the Nepal Cricket Association.
According to Nepali media, if Sandeep Lame Chane is found guilty, he will be jailed for 10 to 12 years according to the law.
According to Nepali media, the girl filed a case with the police in September last year, the cricketer was arrested in October and released on bail last month.
Nepali media also said that the Nepal Cricket Association has not officially announced the details of lifting the suspension.
