Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today with religious devotion and respect in many countries including India, Bangladesh and Iran.
Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated yesterday in several Gulf countries including Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, while today it is being celebrated in Australia, Japan, the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Brunei.
Muslims living in non-Muslim countries celebrated their religious festival in a magnificent manner. The Eid sermon was read in the mosques and after the prayer, they hugged each other and congratulated each other.
People go to meet their friends and relatives for Eid. Feasts are organized in homes in which guests are entertained with traditional dishes.
Restaurants and parks are unusually crowded. Children enjoy the joys of Eid the most. Eid comes and there is a chance to go around and play.
Eid-ul-Fitr is also being celebrated today in Occupied Kashmir, however, the occupying Indian army did not stop its hostility towards Muslims even on this important religious festival and prevented Eid prayers from being offered in the historical mosque of Srinagar.
On the occasion of Eid, the presence of army and police was increased in the entire valley. Officials are harassing people going to mosques and Eid places.
