Around the world, especially in Asia, children and young people are suffering from nearsightedness (myopia), so a Japanese company has developed special glasses that can overcome this condition.
According to a study, by 2050, nearly 50 percent of the world’s population may be visually impaired.
Research has also shown that if a person’s nearsightedness becomes severe, their vision can rapidly deteriorate and progress to high myopia, which increases the risk of other eye problems. As the retina can be damaged, even vision can be affected.
In order to overcome such a dangerous situation, the glasses made in Japan have been tested in many European countries including France and positive results have been revealed in a period of one year.
The 6-year study has recently been completed and these glasses have been named MyoSmart.
On the other hand, a special type of glasses has been developed in France, which if worn by a child for 12 hours, can reduce the process of visual impairment by 67%. Made in France, the glasses are called ‘Stylist’.
Due to the increased screen time of children, our new generation is suffering from poor vision which has now become a global crisis.
In this situation, experts also advise parents to reduce their children’s screen time by increasing physical activity, which is a better natural way to prevent vision impairment.
