Australian cricketer David Warner’s wife has described the situation after facing the ball-tampering scandal in 2018.
According to foreign media, David Warner’s wife Candace Warner has said that there was a large number of fans at the airport when he returned home from South Africa with his family.
“There were cops around us and it was so bad, I felt guilty,” Candace Warner says.
“David Warner spoke briefly to the media at the airport, he was in pain, I could hear it in his voice and it made me very sad,” he said.
“There was nothing we could do but keep our heads down,” said David Warner’s wife.
