Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has met Saudi astronauts after the departure of two Saudi astronauts on an international space science mission.
The Saudi crown prince congratulated the astronauts for successfully passing the qualification program.
During the meeting with the Saudi astronauts, Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that this mission will help to increase the role of Saudi Arabia in the space sector, the role of Saudi Arabia in space research to serve science and humanity will also be revealed.
It should be noted that Rayana Barnawi in this team is the first Arab and Muslim female astronaut while Ali Al-Qarni is the first Saudi astronaut who will go to the International Space Station.
The two Saudi astronauts will depart for the mission in May next month.
