The plan was prepared in a meeting related to the security of the New Zealand cricket team.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), in which the security arrangements for the visit to New Zealand were reviewed.
The meeting was attended by IG Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials and officers of related departments.
It was said in the briefing that the New Zealand cricket team will play 3 T20 and 2 ODI matches in Rawalpindi.
The participants of the meeting were informed that the visiting team will play the matches from April 18 to April 29 in Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, the Chief Commissioner said that the routes of both the teams should be monitored through CCTV while providing security on the entire route.
