Lahore: Another inquiry has started in the anti-corruption establishment against former Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Usman Buzdar is accused of constructing a hall at the government expense on a private land near his residence in the town of Barthi, on which the anti-corruption Punjab summoned former chief minister Usman Buzdar on April 17.
2 crore 44 lakh rupees were spent in the construction of the hall. No land acquisition action was taken for the construction of the hall and no transfer was registered in the name of the government from the private parties. Usman Khan Buzdar has kept the hall for personal use, the said hall has been built next to the tomb of Usman Buzdar’s father.
The work order was given to Aziz Ghulam Akbar Buzdar & Co., a close friend of Usman Buzdar, by the Building Department, Taunsa Sharif.
