Islamabad administration and police have started high-level security for the New Zealand cricket team.
Sources say that the administration has decided to deploy Rangers for the security of the New Zealand cricket team.
The administration has written to the Ministry of Home Affairs and asked for 300 Rangers personnel for the security of the Kiwi team.
Rangers will act as a quick response force, Rangers will also be deployed on the route and stadium security of the New Zealand cricket team, the post said.
The Prime Minister has also directed to provide VIP security to the New Zealand cricket team.
