Civil Aviation (CAA) vigilance staff at Faisalabad Airport dutifully returned currency worth lakhs of rupees to a passenger coming from Dubai.

According to the CAA spokesperson, the vigilance staff found the bag lying in the trolley from the drop lane, the staff took the bag into custody and handed it over to the airport administration.

The spokesman said that the wallet contained Saudi Riyals and some Pakistani rupees, the total currency being approximately five and a half lakh rupees.

The spokesperson of Civil Aviation said that the wallet contained passport and other important documents.

The passenger resident of Sargodha was contacted through his ticket.
