The date of the ongoing seventh census in the country has been extended, according to the spokesperson of the Statistical Office, the census has been extended till April 15. The extension of census will be applied to 19 cities.
The spokesman said that security should be provided to the census staff in the respective cities.
Census has been completed 100% in 131 districts across the country. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, the census is 99% complete.
In Sindh, 98% of the census field work has been completed, while in Islamabad, 90% of the census has been completed.
The process of census in Balochistan has been completed up to 82%.
