Gallup Pakistan has released a new survey based on public opinion, according to which the majority of Pakistani people are aware of the main causes of diarrhea and cholera.
According to the survey, 59 percent of the citizens say dirty water is the main cause of diarrhea and cholera, while 37 percent say stale food is the reason.
35% of people consider not washing their hands, 33% of people eating dirty food and using dirty utensils, while 17% of people consider not adopting hygiene rules as the main reasons for the spread of these diseases.
