The team for the home series against New Zealand has been announced but Azam Khan has been dropped from the T20 team.
Pakistan cricket team’s offensive batsman Azam Khan’s statement on being dropped from the team has come out.
In a statement issued on the social networking website Twitter, Azam Khan expressed his best wishes for the players who will join the national team in the series against New Zealand.
Azam Khan wrote in his post that he will continue to work hard on his game and fitness to come back to the team.
It should be noted that the Pakistan cricket team for the T20 and ODI series against New Zealand was announced yesterday, Shaheen Shah Afridi will be seen in an international match for the first time after the T20 World Cup.
Babar Azam will lead the national team in both formats against New Zealand while Shadab Khan’s vice-captain position remains.
The T20 squad includes Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Ehsanullah in both formats.
Zaman Khan and Saeem Ayub are part of the T20 squad while Imad Wasim also managed to retain his place in the T20 squad.
